WHO WE ARE
With over 45 years in the music business, we proudly present
FOSTER MARTIN MUSIC PUBLISHING. A new independent music publisher (2026), based in Winnipeg, Canada. Home to music legends including The Guess Who, Ray St. Germain, Crash Test Dummies,Streetheart, and many more.
We represent a carefully curated catalog of 100 authentic country, blues, swing, and bluegrass songs written by 18 accomplished songwriters, including award-winning creators. Every song is rooted in real stories and genuine experiences, with honest lyrics and timeless storytelling at the heart of our catalog.
As a hands-on independent publisher, we look to provide personalized publishing administration while actively seeking the right opportunities for our catalog through recordings, licensing, and industry partnerships.
If you hear a song you might be interested in recording as an artist, or you might be looking for the right song for someone else, by all means contact us using the information below.
We're also interested in connecting with more songwriters and their catalogues of songs. In the music business, we believe there is power in numbers. If you’ve written and recorded, even as demos, at least 100 songs, but have not yet pursued any, or very few, publishing options, by all means get in touch with us to talk about joining our initiative.
Feel free to listen, and download any song from this catalogue and share with whom you choose. There is no charge to download any of our songs.

A NOTE ABOUT AI
As most of you know there has been a lot of talk about artificial intelligence in the music business. We as songwriters and publishers are just as concerned when the technology is being used to "create" new songs. We stand firm on the belief that songs must be human authored. We want to make it perfectly clear that even though many songs in this catalogue used AI as a production tool, every one of the songs in our catalogue was authored by humans regarding both words and music. If you have any concerns or questions about any of these songs, by all means reach out and I will be more than pleased to elaborate on it.
Thank you,
Ray Martin
